Please note that racing at Brighton Racecourse is currently suspended until September 2020. See our news section for more information.
Tickets and admission packages can either be booked online or by calling the Racecourse Office 01273 603580. You do not have to book in advance, though we would highly recommend it to ensure you receive your tickets and racecourse information ahead of the day, as well as taking advantage of online savings.
All-inclusive packages are great value for money and ideal for the novice racegoer who wants all elements of their day at the races included in one easy step.
Our Racecourse Tour Package incorporates an exclusive behind-the-scenes-tour of the Racecourse and your host for the day will be on hand to answer any questions. Take a look at our current available packages.
Brighton Racecourse has two types of admission ticket, those for the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure and those for the Premier Enclosure.
传奇sfThe Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure gives you access to grandstand seating, the Parade Ring, the Long Bar, Tote Betting facilities, trackside bookmakers, a picnic area and a wide range of food units.
传奇sfA Premier Enclosure ticket gives you access to all of the above, plus the Premier Bar, Silks Restaurant and the Parade Ring Lawn.
You can upgrade your Grandstand & Paddock ticket to gain access to the Premier Enclosure for £5 on the day of racing (subject to availability) only at the main reception.
传奇sfWithin the Premier and Grandstand & Paddock Halls, there is plenty of seating especially where the food outlets are located.
The Premier lawn and other grass areas also have picnic benches available for you to enjoy a glass of Pimms on a warm summers day.
传奇sfThere is also limited seating at the top of the Grandstand for you to view the racing action although most people tend to stand when cheering their horses home!
传奇sfChildren under 18 are not only welcomed but admitted for free, making it a wonderful family day out for low cost.
We also provide a variety of entertainment and attractions on certain days to appeal to all ages - from live music to jugglers and face painting to fairground rides. You can see what live events we have on our What’s on page.
We do have baby changing facilities. They are located in both the men’s and women’s toilets in the Grandstand & Paddock enclosure.
Brighton Racecourse aims to provide an accessible environment for all our racegoers, particularly those with disabilities. We provide disabled parking spaces and ramped access to each public enclosure. Disabled toilets are available in both the Premier, Grandstand and Paddock enclosures although please be advised they are currently fairly small in size.
You can read more on our Venue Accessibility page.
With the exception of Guide Dogs for the Blind, dogs are only permitted in the main car park, not the Racecourse and must be kept on leads and secured to the vehicle at all times.
传奇sfBoth enclosures have a wide range of catering facilities and bars offering a variety of hot and cold food including burgers, fish and chips, hot dogs, curries, hog roast, sandwiches, snacks, cakes and beverages.
传奇sfPicnics are allowed in the Grandstand & Paddock external areas of the Racecourse but not in the Premier Enclosure. The picnic car park will be open during the season. The price is £10 per car (Please note: Car park tickets are not included in the price of your admission tickets, and are available on a first come, first served basis).
Find out more about visiting our Picnic Area page.
There is a link cash machine located on the ground floor of the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure Hall (on the left hand side close to lift).
Please note there is a transaction fee when you use this cash machine.
传奇sfThere is free parking in the main car park.
Coach parties are always welcome to Brighton Racecourse.
传奇sfBooking a group package of 10 people in advance will save money on tickets, with it being £11 for Grandstand and Paddock, or £15 for the Premier Enclosure.
We also offer free trackside parking for all coaches and free entrance to the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure for all coach drivers.
Brighton Racecourse does not operate a strict dress code and suggests smart/casual wear for both Enclosures. Smart Jeans and trainers are permitted. Visit our Dress Code page for more information.
传奇sfOn our feature race days however, racegoers do enjoy dressing smartly for the occasion and many Ladies wear hats - which although is not obligatory is still great fun!
传奇sfIf we do experience bad weather, there is plenty of space under cover to still enjoy the races.
However, very occasionally we may need to abandon a race meeting due to unsafe weather conditions, such as extreme rain or wind, or heavy fog. Please refer to abandonment policy in T&Cs.
The race card is a useful tool to guide you through your day at the races, with details about each race and other helpful information. Race cards are sold at the 'Information Kiosk' accessible from both Enclosures.
Alternatively, please approach any member of staff who will be happy to assist you.
传奇sfThough you are welcome to take photographs for personal non-commercial use during your visit, flash photography can affect the horses, so we would politely request you refrain from using your flash.
